The Department of Defense does not have collected anywhere the historical Base Structure Reports (or their equivalents), but now publishes them annually on the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy, Installations, and Environment website.
Below are all of the Base Structure Reports we could find online. To make them more reader-friendly, the earlier reports have been reoriented and reordered (where they were a mixture of landscape and portrait and the pages were out of order).
FY2024 Base Structure Report
Base Structure Reports are not published with any geospatial data, meaning that any researchers hoping to map the spread of US military bases must use generalized locations.
In an attempt to remedy this, we have applied latitude and longitude coordinates to as many of the sites listed on the 2024 Base Structure Report as possible.
